virtula machines as host for distributed test

Hi



We are planning to do distributed testing using virtual machines and we have created virtual machines for the same.



But when i try to add these to the host i am not able to find the virtual machines in the directory. I am only able to see the physical machines



Am i missing some config here?

    Hi,


    When you select the computers that will be used as hosts, the Select Host dialog lists all the computers in your network that belong to the same domain as the current computer. It is possible that your virtual machines belong to other domains, and you cannot find them in the dialog. To view them, select the Show all domains check box in the dialog.


    If this does not help, try to manually specify the virtual machine's IP address in the Address column of the Hosts editor.

    Hi,

    What type of network setting are you using for virtual machines ?

    Make sure you have remote connection enabled.

    Try to use Bridged network scheme for the VMs.

    Start/Power ON the HOST after all other VMs/Slaves are powered ON.
