Urgent! Unavailable Name Mapping file

I have been working in a project suite for a number of weeks, recording and running tests everyday. This morning, when opening my project, a message appeared: "Cannot open the 'S:\...\NameMapping.tcNM' file because it is not a valid Name Mapping file."



None of my tests will run. Last night the tests were running fine, I di not touch the file at all and this morning is now invalid.



I cannot continue without the name mapping. So any help will be much appreciated.

    Yes the file does exist. I have tried adding the existing file and i get another error "Could not add a child element from the 'S:\...NameMapping.tcNM' file."



    I ahve checked the help information and it seems that the file may be corrupt. How could this have happened?

    What TC version and ...can you attach this file there and I try restore this file

    I have version 8.5. It will not let me attach the file because it is not one of the allowed file extensions. It is .tcNM

    It appears that you've also submitted a support case regarding that. We'll reply to you via e-mail. In the future, please do not send us duplicated requests (note that we reply to messages sent via the Contact Support form, SmartBear forums and the TestComplete section of the SQAforums site). This makes processing your requests much more difficult for us.
