Upgrading floating license server from TC8 to TC9

Hello, 

     I've currently got a TC server with 3 floating licenses, and it operates as expected when I attempt to connect to it using TC8. I recently upgraded some of my clients to TC9, and they cannot discover the server.

      I was under the impression that the server only managed the licenses, and didn't care which version of TC the client is running. Is there something I need to do to my license server in order for it to be discoverable by the TC9 client machines?

    Hi Howie,


     


    TestComplete 8 and TestComplete 9 use different licenses. So, to use TC 9, the license for this product version must be activated on your server.
