Unique ID

Question

Hi, &nbsp;I am Novice user of Test Complete. In our desktop (Windows) application we have many unique identifier fields present.Numeric and alphanumeric both. Currently for every run I am manually changing all the unique identifiers and re running it. We have around 25 unique identifiers present in application which is tedious to change every time. If any of the unique identifier is missing it stop the execution. Are there any settings for it to generate the unique identifier in it&nbsp;or do I need to code in it and how? &nbsp; &nbsp; Cheers!

It is better to use as few identifiers for each object as possible. As you have noticed, if TestComplete can't match every single identifier in the list for a particular object, then your test will fail.
