Unable to identify the objects inside Flex TabNavigator

Question

Hi ,I am trying to identify the objects in Flex TabNavigator but I objectSpy is unable to identify the objects.And it is identifying the TabNavigator as Button object.Do I need to install any plugin for this?(Currently I am using FlashInjector approch for Identification)

Hi Rahul,According to my experience, this should not be the correct behavior. Does the problematic object look in the Object Browser panel like those demonstrated in the "About Object Names in the Object Browser" section of the "Addressing Objects in Flash and Flex Applications" help topic? Does it have the FlexObject property? What is the exact version of TestComplete you are using?

Hi Mike,Thanks for the quick response.Actually the developers haven't set the property for TabNavigator 'showinAutomationhirarchy' to 'True'.Thats why I was unable to identify the TabNavigator and the objects inside TabNavigator.Thanks,Rahul
