I just manually installed the latest TestComplete (v.011.20.1491.7) and I get the error "Unable to check for updates now, because you are not connected to the Internet". Is this still an outstanding issue?

The issue on my machine is that my company was blocking the SB URL that is used to check for updates. I worked with my IT team and SB support to get that issue
Sadly I have a brand new issue when checking for updates and have opened a trouble ticket for it.

Thanks for the update. It may be our firewall that is blocking, but haven't been able to confirm it. (yet)
