The right choice for AWS usage of TestComplete/TestExecute

We're looking to stand up an AWS EC2 that we can install TestComplete on to run tests on our desktop software. In reading different options on the SmartBear website, it seems like the right thing to do in this case is to use TestExecute rather than TestComplete on the AWS server. 

 

Is that the typical model for this scenario?

    Yes TestExecute for executing tests created from test complete. It has no IDE, but has a cheaper pricing model.
