The property Sys.OleObject("Excel.Application") don't find a running Excel application.

Hi All,

in our test script, wie have to save and close a open excel tabel.
This test operation not longer works in windows 8.1.
The property Sys.OleObject("Excel.Application") don't find a running Excel application.
TestComplete always open a new instance of Excel.

    Hi Brigitte,

     

    I suppose it might be helpful to try suggestions from the "Note for Microsoft Office users" paragraph of the "OleObject Property" article. Also, please make sure you run TestComplete and Excel with the same permissions. For example, you won't be able to get a running Excel instance if you run TC as an Administrator and Excel as a regular user.
