Text Recognition doesn't work with Word 2013

When using Word 2013 as editor, Testcomplete 8.70 & Testcomplete 9.10 cannot find any text by the Text Recognition. With Word 2010 & 2007 this one works als well.

My Project already contains the Option: Open Applications-->Test Recognition-->List of accepted Windows = *

Any hints for me to enable support of this required function.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Install Word 2013

2. Open Word and enter some Text

3. Create a Keyword Test and use Property Checkpoint to validate the written Text which was typed into the Wordk 2013 Editor

Dirk

    Hi Dirk,

I don't have MS Word 2013 installed on my computer. You'd better contact our Support team - they can investigate this behavior in their test lab.

BTW, does anybody face this issue as well?

One more thing, as a rule MSAA is used to get access to objects in MS Word. Don't you want to try it?

    Hi Tanya,

ii'm using MSAA already, It seems that TC can only catch the Root Object from the Editor (where Users type the text). Any other Properties inside are a blackbox. What a pitty, 2007/2010 works as designed, but not 2013.

    Regards,

    Dirk
