TestComplete provides special support for .NET apps. All their objects are recognized as WinFormsObject, and it's possible to get a lot of information from their properties and methods. Refer to the "Testing .NET Applications" article for more information.
If you don't want to use this feature, disable the .NET Application Support and Open Applications plug-ins in TestComplete (File | Extenstions).
