Champion Level 3You turn off the automatic updates and only update when there's a patch to support the newer version of Chrome.
It seem like there is no UI option to turn off automatic updates in Chrome browser ?

Correct. Chrome isn't very friendly that way, but if you do a search for "turn off auto update chrome", you'll find some answers.
