TestExecute reporting 'TestedApps' is undefined

Forgive me if this is not the right forum but I could  not find the TestExecute once.



I run my test using the following command from a batch file:



"C:\Program Files (x86)\SmartBear\TestExecute 9\Bin\TestExecute.exe" "PATH to .pjs" /r /e /SilentMode



But all tests are failing because of this error:



'TestedApps' is undefined

Error location:

Unit: "ScriptName"

Line: 4 Column: 5.



I have run all testedapps again and all run fine. I have also ran all the scripts that call the TestedApps and all are fine.



I have edited the TestedApps.tcTAs file and checked each file path and all paths are rechable.



I can run the same project with no problems from TestComplete.



Anyone know what could be causing this?

    Hi Sean,


     


    Are you using TestComplete 9.10? The format of the TestedApp item was changed in this version. Make sure that TestExecute 9.10 is installed on your computer. If the problem persists, send our Support team your project for the investigation.

    Hi Tanya



    You were right I was using TestComplete 9.10 and TestExecute 9.0



    I updated TestExecute and now its running my TestedApps



    Really appreciate the speedy and accurate reply!
