Masha and others who are going to use Selenium with TestComplete,
I am not sure I will try it in the nearest future, but this is what I thought about:
When I am happen to express my opinion about why I prefer TestComplete against free (open-source) tools, I am always mention the infrastructure provided by TestComplete out-of-the box. This infrastructure, despite everything else, includes such things as Project and Project Suite variables. I think that it should be handy if TestComplete provides some extension that makes it possible to access (get and set) those variables from Selenium tests. With this functionality (and properly written tests in Selenium) it will be possible to configure test environment (e.g. web address to be used in tests, some parameters set by the preceeding tests, etc.) in one place (in TestComplete) but not in two (in TestComplete and make the same changes in Selenium) and exchange data between TestComplete and Selenium tests .
