TestComplete 7 support windows 8 ?


Hi.


 


Does TestComplete 7 support windows 8?


 


I changed the compatibility to windows 7 and the problem is the same.


 


I changed again to XP and the program shows the message:


 


"The TestComplete service is not running. TestComplete cannot start without it. please run the service."


 


What should I have to do?

    Most probably it does not as this is quite outdated version of TC. TC 9 supports Windows 9, but not Metro UI apps for now.



    > What should I have to do?

    As the message says, you should check if TestComplete 7 Service service is running (start services.msc and check the state of the service).
