Thanks for the advice...no, not yet. Will install and try tomorrow, and post the result here.
Unfortunately, Chrome also doesn'nt start the video at all...allthough the time bar below seems to display the corresponding video scene when moving the mouse cursor over it (as it does in Firefox).
I just tried it in my installation of Chrome here and it plays back fine with the appropriate sound level, etc. I'm wondering if you are missing a plug-in or something in your browsers that is preventing the playback. Really weird, actually.
What's even weirder to me is that I can easily watch and hear other vidoes like e.g. https://support.smartbear.com/screencasts/testcomplete/creating-your-first-test/
At least with Firefox and Chrome, IE plays but also without sound.
I created a JIRA issue for our admins, I hope they can do something.
Thanks for all of your help and I'll keep you updated about any progress (or further problems...).
