Test Complete IS the overlapping window?

I am running TC 8.2. I have observerd sometimes, not sure what causes, TC itself is reported as the overlapping window when trying to interact with the application under test. This happens at one spot consitently on Win2k8 server. It JUST happened on a suite that has been working find on Win 7 64 bit. Anyone seen this?

    Hi Stephinie,

    Try changing the setting to hide testcomplete on test execution.
  • Hi Stephanie,

    Minimizing Test Complete during run is an option in the Project Properties> Playback>Runtime. So this is project specific.

    I cannot work with tech support until another problem is resolved. I was hoping someone had experienced this and had a workaround in the meantime.  Thanks

  • Try to hide TestComplete's Indicator window using the following call

    Indicator.Hide();

    at the test start and see if this will help.

    It is not th eindicator object that is beingclicked on. It is the main Test Complete window. Mr Kumar, where is the hide test complete setting? I don't see it in help. I am running 8.2 btw.
