Test Complete crashes my App

Question

below is the listed issue. I have updated to the most current build. And no go. I can pause the test record open the app and continue, But its important to be able to test the app opening. Anyone have any advice as to what I can try? Hi Benjamin, &nbsp; This problem requires investigations in our test lab. Follow the steps below to help our Support team: &nbsp; 1. Run the Report Generator tool located in &lt;TestComplete&gt;\Bin\ReportGenerator.exe. &nbsp; 2. Select "Launch application" and click Next. &nbsp; 3. Specify the path to your application and click Next (this will start your application). &nbsp; 4. Run another instance of ReportGenerator.exe and click Next (this will start TestComplete). &nbsp; 5. Reproduce the problem. &nbsp; 6. Click the "Generate memory dump" button in each of the Report Generator instances three times with a 5-second delay between the clicks. &nbsp; 7. Click the "Generate..." button in each instance and specify the destination folder. &nbsp; 8. Upload the reports to our Support team and describe the steps leading to the crash as minutely as possible. &nbsp; Thanks.

Thank you very much for responding, I have followed the steps to try and log the problem. But when I run two instances of Report Generator and launch the application as instructed it launches without incident.

But when I start a new test and launch... as soon as I enter my credentials to log into the product it crashes... Any other ideas how I can reproduce this with test generator

Now I must add, if I start a test, and pause. Log in then resume recording it all works just fine.

Hi Benjamin, &nbsp; If pausing the test execution makes the trick, you can try adding the Delay method to your test and use this approach as a workaround. &nbsp;
