Test Complete crashes my App

below is the listed issue. I have updated to the most current build. And no go. I can pause the test record open the app and continue, But its important to be able to test the app opening. Anyone have any advice as to what I can try? This happens if I set my prgram to first select from multiple databases.

  • Hi Benjamin,

This problem requires investigations in our test lab. Follow the steps below to help our Support team:

    1. Run the Report Generator tool located in <TestComplete>\Bin\ReportGenerator.exe.

    2. Select "Launch application" and click Next.

    3. Specify the path to your application and click Next (this will start your application).

    4. Run another instance of ReportGenerator.exe and click Next (this will start TestComplete).

    5. Reproduce the problem.

    6. Click the "Generate memory dump" button in each of the Report Generator instances three times with a 5-second delay between the clicks.

    7. Click the "Generate..." button in each instance and specify the destination folder.

    8. Upload the reports to our Support team and describe the steps leading to the crash as minutely as possible.

    Thanks.

Thank you very much for responding, I have followed the steps to try and log the problem. But when I run two instances of Report Generator and launch the application as instructed it launches without incident.

But when I start a new test and launch... as soon as I enter my credentials to log into the product it crashes... Any other ideas how I can reproduce this with test generator

Now I must add, if I start a test, and pause. Log in then resume recording it all works just fine.
