TC9 does not release all refs to process or objects after end of test run.

This is something that is hard top put your finger on, but I strongly suspect TC9 does not properly dispose of all references to the tested application or created objects after a test run is ended. In...

Thank you for the report, but it looks like we need to collect another report from your application anyway:



  • configure TestComplete as described here and here;

  • start your application and TestComplete and prepare them for the problematic test run;

  • run the ReportGenerator.exe utility and proceed with the Attach to process option to attach to your application;

  • run your test and reproduce the problem;

  • when you see the access violation exceptions in the utility's Application event view, click the Generate... button immediately;

  • if the collected report can be saved successfully, send it via our Contact Support form.
