TC latest upgrade not identifying images in the application

After the upgrade to TC 12.42 controls such as the images in the application is not getting identified by the tool. It was working in the previous versions.

Can you give a screenshot of the application under test and highlight the problem item?

Sorry for the delay, I won't be able to share the screenshot of the application.

 

did some research and found that the application is using Sprite image instead of image files. this is the change from the earlier working version.

    So, just to recap, the problem was not with TestComplete but that the application under test changed in it's implementation of images?

      When I saw this issue initially, I thought this was due to TC upgrade, but earlier version of TC is also unable to identify the sprite image objects.

      I am not sure if TC doesnt support sprite images, Please suggest

        Hi,

         

        Can you provide (the screenshot of) the HTML markup source for some problematic sprite image (with several parents) and screenshot of how this section of HTML markup is recognized in the Object Browser ?
