Hi Stephanie,
> What does the feature in the list Test Recognition Services mean, please?
I think that this is a typo that should be read as "Text Recognition Services" - http://support.smartbear.com/viewarticle/32175/ and http://support.smartbear.com/viewarticle/27899/ - irina_lukinaSuper Contributor
Hi Stephanie,
As far as I understand, it is the Text Recognition Technology used by TestComplete for accessing certain elements of on-screen windows and controls and catching these elements by the text displayed on them. For more information on this technology, please refer to the Using Text Recognition Technology - Overview help topic.
We'll change the mentioned article. Thanks for your feedback :)
- sastoweSuper ContributorThat is what I thought and hoped. Thanks!
S - sastoweSuper ContributorI am researching upgrading to enterprise for management. I would like to prove that the web application support will allow more robust testing of web components. Right now, we do coordinate clicks within browser windows. (Sort of, there is more to it than that.) These tests are really brittle, obviously. I may also be able to make use of the text recognition feature for other on screen objects that we have had a hard time getting to. Before I take the time to download the free trial version, can anyone tell me if the free trial version is the enterprise edition that would allow me to prove these features?
Thanks all.

Hi Stephanie,
As the TestComplete Trial Information article states:
* The trial version is a full-functional TestComplete Enterprise version that includes all the features available in the registered version of the product.
* The trial period is 30 days. It starts after you've activated the trial license.
* The trial license is a Node-Locked license for running 1 TestComplete instance on a single computer.I hope this information helps :)
- sastoweSuper ContributorI was happily able to do a proof of concept that demonstrated that the enterprise features do what we want them to do. Thanks all.
