Several TC instances on remote machine.

Hi,

I encounter strange behaviour when using TestComplete over RemoteDesktop on a Windows Server 2008 Enterprise (e.g. the tested application disappears from the Object Browser, Object Spy now returns something like "NameMapping.Sys.Process("System Process", 42)" as name mapping root.

Now I realized, that another user is also using TestComplete on the same machine, also over a remote connection.



Now I wonder, if this could be the reason for the described problem: Is it possible to run several TestComplete instances on one machine using different user accounts reliably at the same time?

    Hi,

    it seems, that running several instances of TestComplete on Windows Server with different user accounts is no problem.

    The issues I described above appears to be fixed, now that I have an administrator account on the server and start TestComplete as administrator (right click -> Run as Administrator).
