Hi,
Thanks for your reply Robert.
I have taken on board your advice, however, when I run the operations leading up to the Checkpoint and then run the Checkpoint operation manually, the problem still occurs. To me this is a problem caused by the Checkpoint operation itself as there are no other operations involved.
I'll give a little more thought to the timing idea but it does not seem right to me that a Checkpoint can run in isolation and change anything on the screen in any way...
Thanks
Jenny

That is a curious problem, for sure. I'll say this... if this was a problem with the tool, others would have reported it... so, while you ARE definitely having a problem, I'm a bit skeptical about it being the checkpoint operation itself.
Can you open the parameters screen of your checkpoint operation and post a screenshot of it here? I just was working with one of my collegues here where they put a "Click" action inside of a "Keys" action... and it worked in that it clicked on the item... but it's an odd situation. So, I want to make sure that there's nothing strange going on in your implementation of the region checkpoint that might be causing your problem.

Hi Robert
I have today tried to rerun the KWTest that was having this problem and have not been able to reproduce exactly what was happening before for me.
The Checkpoints now run in isolation 'without' changing the radio button selection. Typical! :)
Therefore, I'm happy to try out a few things with timing, e.g. Delays, Wait operations etc.
Thank you for your help on this, I much appreciate it!

Hi Robert
I'm afraid I spoke to soon!
I am still seeing the issue I was having.
I've attached a screenshot of the Operation parameters for the Checkpoint currently affected.
I've been able to reproduce it by running only two operations and the Checkpoint and the Checkpoint in isolation. The Operations are a click on an on-screen object to update the pop-up window and a Hovermouse to move away from a potential tooltip. I've tried putting a long Delay in after the click (up to 4000ms) and another before (500ms).
I have also seen the checkpoint run successfully in isolation without causing a stoppage. I have tried adding delays but without success so far - I'll keep trying. It seems intermittent.
Given what you have said previously I can't help but feel this is a timing issue but still find it strange that I'm seeing the Checkpoint run on it's own and the radio button selected moves. In case it was the Checkpoint itself I have tried creating a new one but to no avail, the same thing occurs.
Any further help or advice you can offer would be very much appreciated.
Thank you
Jenny
