Reading an ExcelSheet

I have created the driver scripts. But, I am using  Excel = Sys.OleObject("Excel.Application") instead of DDT driver. The problem is I am using two excels. The TestCase Excel should go and hit the object excel every time.

You really should take advantage of what tristaanogre and I mentioned above.  Using Name Mapping for your objects will go faster and avoid the two Excel file problem.

    Your question is how to improve performance... and the answer is to not use FindChild or FindXPath...  Searching routines take time... and XPath searching takes even more time than FindChild because it does a full document scan rather than just within a limited section of the document like FindChild.  NameMapping is MUCH faster... So... the answer to your question to improve performance is a re-design of your framework to not use XPath and utilize NameMapping and Aliases for your object identification.

      And, to public answer your question from the PM... yes, NameMapping can be used in ScriptCode... NameMapping is not a feature limited only to KeywordTesting.  In fact, NameMapping in TestComplete pre-existed KeywordTesting as a feature (I think NameMapping was added in like TC version 3 or 4 and KeywordTesting was added in something like 5 or 6).
