Test Complete getting crashed due to DB Error

    Sounds like an issue to raise with the support staff directly.

    Something else you might want to try is, after you're finished with your ADO objects, try setting the variables to "null" to just clear them out of memory.  TestComplete does have some of the garbage collection going on in it but it's not 100% reliable. Null your objects and see if you still get the crash.

      I think assigning the object to Null have helped now its working .Since I have made the mistake intentionally to check does the test complete will crash or not  and executed 70 times and  the test complete did not get crashed :)

      I think that TestComplete manages only its own objects like Project Variables, Object Browser objects, etc. I believe that for the objects created in test code, TestComplete relies on the memory management / garbage collection provided by the given scripting runtime. Some of these garbage collectors might process disposed of objects not immediately but with some delay. Yes, potentially this may cause some problems in TestComplete (especially for the Python which is a new scripting language for TestComplete), but I wouldn't treat this as a sole fault of TestComplete.

       

      P.S. But the tip from Robert is really good. For a long time it is not required (and even not recommended) to do a variables clean-up for VBScript. It looks like it is still a good idea to do a clean-up for JScript and Python...
