How to apply if contains condition for two variables in Keyword test

Hi Rich,

After doing following setting suggested by you, test case run successfully,

Value 1 : Mode code expression:  aqString.Find(Details,RefNum)

Condition : "Greater than or equal to".

Value2 :  Mode - Constant
Type - Integer
Value - 0

But new question:

  If this condition is true  what should i defined under "If..Then" loop so that after running i will come to know this test case is pass.

I used following, But system does not display value  1 in the log

 If .....then (i have set the above condition)

    Return 1

Else 

  Return  0

You could either put a Log Message in it or a Log Checkpoint.

In this intance I would suggest a checkpoint.

A way to do this would be to select

"Call Objecet Method"

from the test actions and in the field type

"Log"

Then click next and it should give you a list of methods to choose from. Find

"Checkpoint"

and click next. Then in the Message Text field you can enter your message.

"Data was found as expected."

(I've just used this as an example. You can type in what you like.) 

Then click finish.

If the variable is not found and it goes to the Else statement then you could do the same but put in a Warning message. which s the same process but you select

"Warning"

instead of checkpoint. Or you could just simply use a Log Message which again is the same but you select

"Message"

instead.
