Questions About the Object Spy

Hello TestComplete Forums!



Is there anyway through the SDK to extend the object spy window?



What I would Like to do:

    -  Upon selecting an object, have a button to export the alias to the clipboard, another           program, to a file, wherever :-)



If you need more information, please let me know, I will try and be as descriptive as possible. Thanks!

    Hi Stephen,

     


    You can save a snapshot of the selected object from the Object Browser window to which you can switch from the Object Spy. You can find more details here.


    As for TestComplete SDK, I suggest that you download all the needed modules from here and install them. There, you can find the TestComplete SDK documentation where there is a lot of info on creating new plug-ins for the product.
