Question about floating licenses

I currently use a named license for TestComplete. We are considering the option to replace it by a floating license. Before we do so I would like to know if it is possible to work with TestComplete (floating license) if the computer is not connected to the network?



The reason for asking this is that I often work on scripts while I'm traveling and do not have access to our network.

    Hi,



    The computer where TC is installed must have an active connection to the License Manager PC (the PC where the license is activated). Otherwise, you will not be able to obtain the license.

    When your computer does not have access to your network, you can use one of the approaches described in the "Using TestComplete in WAN" article.
