Project folders gets deleted suddenly while script execution is in progress

Hi all,



While I am running tests in TestComplete, suddenly I encounter messages  like 'Cannot open the '<project file> file(as shown in the attached screenshot 'Error_Message.jpg'). When I checked the project folder manually, I found many folders missing in it The entire Scripts,Log and Regions folder have vanished.(as shown in the screenshot 'Project_Folder.jpg'). I have no clue where these folders go and how do they get deleted.



This has been happening quite for some time and is really annoying.

Kindly help me to resolve this issue.

    Hi Vidya,



    Personally I never had such problem with TC.

    Is it possible that your tests do some file-system-related operations using not absolute but relative paths? Usually, the working folder for the running test is the folder where the project suite file is located, so relative path can easily appear to point to some folder that belongs to the project being currently executed.
