Problems switching Applications with TC 11.30 and Windows8.1

Hi All,

 

After upgrading to TestComplete 11.30 we have problems switching between application on Windows 8.1

Often, when TestComplete is running, it is not possible to switch to other applications.

Neither selecting the application on the windows taskbar not using Alt+Tab switches to the other app.

After closing TestComplete, we can switch between Applications as normal.

 

The problem does not occur with TestComplete 11.30 on windows 7, nor with TestComplete 10.6 on Windows 8.1

 

Is this a known issue?

    Hi,

     

    This behavior is quite strange. We have never received the reports about such problems. I suppose it's related to your specific enviroment somehow. Please try reproducing it on another Win 8.1 machine.

     

    If you can stably do this, please create a support case. However, to find a root cause of this issue, we will need to reproduce it on our side. Most probably, we will need access to your machine for this. Or, we will need an image of a virtual machine, where the problematic behavior is reproduced.
