Make sure that you are using Point and fix, but not Pick the object with the target glyph. Once you hover the mouse over the desired object, you will be able to catch it via SHIFT+CTRL+A. This is the default shortcut. It can be different on your computer - check what is written next to the feature name in the Object Spy dialog.
Hi Tanya, the Point and fix works but only partially as of today. Because this is a hover Tip and the moment we capture we get the properties, but if we need to use the show in object browser to check on its branch/root parents etc, the mouse has to move and the properties vanish from object browser.
How to handle this.
