Yes the workaround is OK, but makes things less flexible.
However, in the referenced post you say that this request will be registered in your DB as a suggestion. Any news on that?

Yes, this suggestion is in our DB.
However, it is not a common practice to override the current system's localization settings. At that, you are the only person who asked for this. So, we have not made any decision on the subject so far.- ekiza23ContributorI am facing a similar issue. The end product includes an English WinXP, but users are allowed to configure in the application which character they want to use as Decimal Separator ("." or ",")
I have found a thread with a similar issue, but the solution provided involves using an obsolete functionality, so I would like to know if there's any update/suggestion on this...
