One or more Threads of TestComplete.exe are waiting to finish network I/O


Hi,



 We are executing scripts on remote machines connected through web-ex.

 This one particular machine has become very slow. So peeked into the CPU usage it shows 100% usage and when did a "Analyze wait chain" in Task Manager->Performance->Resource Monitor-> Overview. It shows the following :

 "One or more Threads of TestComplete.exe are waiting to finish network I/O" and lists the threads.

 Wanted to know if these threads are causing over shoot of CPU usage?

 If yes then is there a solution for the same.

    As far as I can see, you've contacted the Customer Care team regarding this question. Let me quote their reply here:


    The CPU should not be under heavy use because of TestComplete's network modules. Likely, it's in the middle of running a test, and the task manager think's it's a network task waiting. Testing can consume many CPU cycles. If you wanted to examine this further, then you may try setting up a test that just runs a long series of short Delay()'s and watch the CPU.
