Newbie name mapping alias browser question

On 10/29/15 and 12/4/15 I am working on the same script. At least, I'm 99.9% sure it's the same script. I went into Name Mapping to try to fix a date text field problem. I see that the aliases have accumulated many more browser pages.

1. Is this correct behavior. This list will modify on its' own?

2. I know I read somewhere to keep the list of alias' in the name mapping area 'clean' but what is the point if they grow as you test.

Edited to add that prior to opening Name Mapping, I click to select the object that I am wanting to update. In this case it was the same object both times (I was working on the from date/to date problemwhen I noticed this).

    1. Go to

    Tools -> option->Engines->Namemapping

    Uncheck Update Namemapping and MapObject names automaticallyABC.PNG

    2)Also use wildcard in your name mapping like your “object name*” to identify object name1, object name2, object name3 …etc.

        The other posibility is since you are still "Working" and "Map Object names Automaticaly" ticked.

        you may have recoded several times over paticuler page.

        see this

        So it didnot identified that page and remapped

        solution is use wild cards in namemappings
