NameMapping has 650 mb of size and TestComplete cannot handle with it

Hello, guys



We running testcomplete in a network disk using shared mode. Now we running in problems while opening the project, appears the message (translated from portuguese ) 'cannot get enough space to process this command'.

Looking for the fat ones files, beside shared mode folders and logs, we catched the NameMapping with 650 mb. We use a shared namemapping used for all projects in suite (now with 7 tested apps) shared among 7 projects in the suite.

Is there any work around to handle this problem?

    Open the Namemap file in any text editor and look for this



    <TypeInfo>

    xxx

    xxx

    xxx

    xxx

    </TypeInfo>



    and delete the whole section



    Make sure you backup the file before you do this

    Hello,



    Yesterday I opened the file in VIM and left the computer deleting the 11 milions lines of TypeInfo tag. Today the operation is over and the file now has only 311 kb of size.  I running the tests we wrote and any news I'll write here.
