manual testing depreciated? True/just a rumour?

Is it true that manual testing support (including converting manual to automatic) is going to be depreciated in TestComplete versions released later this year? Or is it just a rumour?

I intend to use manual testing capabilities later on the project, but I also like to keep up-to-date with TestComplete latest versions (to have access to latest bug fixes, technologies, features, etc), however is manual testing support is really going to be depreciated this is conflicting!

What do others think of this subject?

It looks like it is true. The help has red text indicating it is a deprecated feature:

I suspect it will be replaced with something else in the future though. Or else you can use QAComplete with it's testrunner  (soon to be updated) and deeper features though I'm not sure what you're doing with Manual Testing exactly.

      The same happened to ODT.

What can I rely on at all as a customer having paid Money for TC?

if that's true, that would indicate you would have to buy another product to accomplish manual testing support (or not updating TestComplete). Also, TestCOMPLETE should stick to manual testing support (be as complete as possible)
