Issue with edge browser
TestComplete version 15.75 is supported, but we are experiencing flickering issues and dropdown selection problems in our application when using Edge version 140.3.

I also have an issue with the latest Chrome/Edge version.
version 139 does work I recommend downgrading edge to that version.
I also made a Community ticket for this:
Don't update Chome to v140 | SmartBear Community
Edge would be the same.
EDIT: you could check if TC 15.77.6 does work for you before downgrading
Update TestComplete to the latest version and verify the issue. If the issue persists, then open a support ticket - their link is currently not working, unless it's changed!
I see the same issue. I'm still on TestComplete version 15.68.8.7 x86. I'm glad to hear others are seeing this and it's not just me. I'll have to upgrade to the latest version. If anyone here upgrades and it resolved the problems, let us know.
I have today updated both to Edge Version 140.0.3485.54 (Official build) (64-bit) and Chrome Version 140.0.7339.81 (Official Build) (64-bit), and I'm not able to reproduce the issue with TestComplete v15.77.6.7 x64

This issue was dealt with in the newest release of TestComplete. I was having the same issue with both edge and Chrome and there is a pretty popular thread from when the issue started occurring. You can update to the latest version but..there are other problems now as noted by MW_Didata and others.
