Is there a way of doing by code the manual 'Export to' at Project level?

I'm not sure why you're only getting the current test item in your export.  I have a test project that I run with multiple test items, the last of which is simply a Log.SaveResultsAs and it exports the entire log file up to that point.  That file can then be e-mailed, archived, etc.
