Is Test Complete 7.2 support Janus Grid, third party control

I record a script for vb.net application using Test Complete 7.2.

When
I run the script, it does not read numeric text box of Janus grid control.
The script only starts when I manually enter value in numeric text box.



I think Test Complete does not read third party Control even its script is recorded?

Script items are NumericEidt, JNSC and operations are wtext[Set] and keys and values are "45" and "[Tab]"

    I am using "Janus WinForms Controls Suite'" third party control for Dot Net Application that is not listed there.

    How can I resolve my problem?

    Hi,



    TC doesn't have special support for the Janus grid control. See the "Supported Janus Controls" help topic.



    However, you can use this script to click a cell of the Janus GridEX control and, after that, enter the needed text by using the Keys method.



    BTW, we recommend that you update TC 7 to the latest version, which is 7.52. Also, take a look at TC 8.

    Hi,

    I worked in TC8 demo version but it still does not support Janus Grid
    (Janus WinForms Controls Suite) completely. Although it recorded and played 50%
    scripts for Janus Grid.

    When Janus Grid support in Test Complete will be available? I want to buy it.

    We do not plan to implement special support for such grids in the near future.
