Is TC10 Compatible with Delphi XE10?

Is TC10 Compatible with Delphi XE10? We were using Delphi XE5 with TC10, and our tests were running. Once we switched to XE10 with TC10, all the object names in our tests changed.

Do I have to start compiling in Debug Mode (per https://support.smartbear.com/viewarticle/73596/#_ga=1.195955178.792642359.1391704566), or is there another way of fixing this besides updating all our tests manually?

  • Hi Heidi,

According to the Testing Delphi Applications - Overview ( http://smartbear.com/viewarticle/68770/ ) article, we support Deplhi 10 since TestComplete 11.2. So, I recommend that you consider updating to this product version (or to the latest TestComplete 11 minor update - 11.3).
