In Project Properties - Playback Options, try changing the Object search strategy, see if that makes any difference.
Have you checked your internet speed? You don't have multiple browsers (use Task Manager) opened? Have you tried using FindElement instead of FindChildByXPathh? Are you using the full XPath query?
