Import and run existing test scripts

Question

Good day,I'm very new to TestComplete, but I have some experience with HPQC.As a learning exercise, I'm trying to import and run an existing script created in a different testing tool.I fumble fingered my way to get the script copied into TestComplete.The script is located under one of the sample project suites and copied under the Script folder.&nbsp;From there, the Run This Routine icon is greyed out and (Routines not found) is displayed.I was hoping that a script could be copied or imported into TC, but I'm not surprised that it didn't happen.Can standalone scripts (text files) be copied or imported into TC?If so, is there a thread or knowledge base article that can be recommended?Best Regards&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Wonderful. Thank you for your quick reply.
Copying into a new script is what I've tried, but I'm not really that
familiar with it (yet).
You've confirmed that this is one way to reuse scripts so I'll continue
down this path.

I would say that import functionality in its commonly understood form is not supported in TestComplete. One can either add existing file to the project (https://support.smartbear.com/testcomplete/docs/working-with/managing-projects/project-items/adding-and-removing.html) or just create a new empty script unit and copy/paste into it.

If you are new to TestComplete, then I suggest you go through&nbsp;Getting Started With TestComplete and understand how to use the tool.&nbsp;
&nbsp;
You've mentioned importing existing script, but you haven't mentioned the script language i.e. JavaScript,. Python etc?
