IE Exists Function

Hi, I need to check whether IE window has been opened before my web application starts.



Will Exists function helps in this case? but how do I write a code for the TestComplete to get the object and check whether it exists or not? From where will Testcomplete identifies the IE object, without the tool openning the application?



Can anyone help me out in finding the solution??
