Huge delay between events when executing script

Hi, I have a script that does functional web testing of my application.  When I run the script, there is a huge delay between any of the events.  I am simply trying to set the text in a text box a...

I shut everything down and restarted my computer, and now my tests seem to be executing faster.  It seems like when I do a lot of work and debugging in TestComplete, things start to slow down and I need a reboot.
