How to view objects on a virtual machine without installing Test Complete

I have a script that runs an installer and it works fine on a standard machine running Test Complete however it fails when running Test Execute on a virtual machine with an object recognition error.  We have a node serial and we cannot upgrade to floating that will allow us to install Test Complete on a virtual machine.



So the question is, how do I find the cause of the object recognition error if I don't have access to an object spy?
