    I had a conversation with one of their staff a few weeks back concerning the aquisition by SmartBear of Cucumber.  Currently, nothing new has been added in TestComplete support beyond what's already there for Cucumber. Sorry... the industry doesn't move quite that fast.

You can use Set Variable Value, then choose Object Property, then Onscreen Object. The wizard will walk you through picking the property you want and it will be stored in your chosen variable.
