How to resolve mapping settings for- mapped item has the extended find attribute enabled

Hi,



The following problem has been very persistant with every dropdowns in web-application testing. How to resolve this?

The mapped object does exist in 'highlight in screen' from object tree.

    Hi Shiva,


     


    Could you please zip your entire project suite folder along with the log of the failed test execution and send the archive to our Support team? They will investigate the Name Mapping and Test Log results and give you some advice.

    Chances are it's timing out because it's taking too long. You could try a wait method (they're kinda flakey but sometimes will work): Aliases.browser.pageRedowlAvailabilityCodes.linkavailabilityASPXcodes.WaitChild(20000);;



    Also uncheck the extended find box for the textnode, you don't need it there because it's a single child and should be found easily once the parent is located.
