how to get text in tooltip

both ToolTipText or GetToolTipText(objCell) properties are not there for that object
Use 'Point and fix' object spy tool to as described here ( https://support.smartbear.com/viewarticle/74320/ )to map the tool tip separately. Then you can get the text using contentText property.
i tried using point and fix...could not find context preperty, actuall iam not able to keep the object spy on the tooltip , the tool tip just comes from image when i hover mouse on the image, Object spy is able to capture the image but not the tooltip.
so in order to get properties of tool tip, do we need to keep spy on tool tip, or just the parent of tool tip?
in delphi it's just the "Hint" property of the desired object...
spy this object and check all of its properties.
it's certainely not the wText property
When the tool tip is not activated(visible), does it still show up in the object browser as a child or sibling node to the image? If yes, please post a screenshot of the property window.
