How to get supports for TC version 8.0.290.7 to test sliverlight 4 application

Hi, i try to test silverlight 4 application with TC (currently i am using TC enterprise version 8.0.290.7). i read TC support article about testing silverlight 4, i.e. sorts of plug-ins, tcAgPatcher.exe for processing application as an "open" application, etc. but none of them is in the version i am using. it seems they are only available for v 8.10. How can i get those support for my current version or i have to upgrade to v 8.10 or any other alternatives.

    Hi Alan,





    Special support for Silverlight 4 applications was implemented in TestComplete 8.10. In TestComplete 8.0, the only way to test Silverlight applications as open is to use the Microsoft UI Automation technology.





    I recommend that you update your product to TestComplete 8.10 and use the new improved approach to test Silverlight 4 applications.
