how to get dynamic values generated on the fly

Hi, the system I'm testing generates a Receipt No. at the end of the transaction. I'd like to capture this number and use in a checkpoint later.

How can I capture this value that changes everytime?

    Where does this number appear? On a form? We need more detail about your application under test and where that number appears.
