How to extract string from web application?

Hi,&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; I am recording the web application test using Test Complete. At some places&nbsp;web application does validation of data and displays message in new browser. I would like extract this message and check that i get expected message. For e.g. Validation message will say "Project Abc is valid". I would like to extract this message and check that it displays same message. Can anyone help me in this?Thanks and RegardsRahul

Essentially, you're checking an object's property (in this case, probably innerText) and making sure that it matches a particular value.
